PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma)

PRP stands for Platelet Rich Plasma. It is a Non-Surgical healing treatment used in many fields. PRP in skin rejuvenation naturally uses your body's own growth and healing factors in regenerating cells to improve the overall texture and tone of the skin.  It revitalizes the skin by improving blood supply and stimulating collage. Prior to the start of treatment a topical numbing cream will be applied to the area treated to decrease any  possible discomfort.  Blood is taken from your arm and processed further in a centrifuge machine. After the process the concentrated platelet rich plasma (PRP) is separated and reintroduced into the skin by using a very fine needle pen  (Micro-Needling) or  injections using a single fine needle with syringe  (Mesotherapy)  These treatments stimulate collagen and new blood vessels formation. Providing nutrition to  enhance healing. The procedure will take approximately one hour. There is however some downtime. After your treatment your skin may be red or have needle puncture blood spots for up to 24 hours. This is a normal reaction.
